Muse-Glimmer-30B KQuant-17GB Q4_K_M (Meta's official 15.61 GiB quant), 52 layers, of which only 28 fit on a 10GB card - 24 run on CPU. Result is 5.97 tok/s and a 3.8 s TTFT, with PCIe rx peaking at 23.9 GB/s streaming the CPU layers every token. This is the slowest of the six configs I measured on this GPU and is included as a negative result: the official Q4_K_M is not practical on 10GB. Unsloth's UD-Q3_K_XL of the same model (12.44 GiB, ngl 40) more than doubles it to 13.78 tok/s, and a fully-resident smaller model beats both by 5-12x. Medians of 2 reps. PROVENANCE CAVEAT: my local file is 16,756,681,056 B against 16,756,683,904 B for the current HF revision (2,848 B smaller). It loads and runs correctly, so this is most likely a re-upload rather than a bad download, but I could not byte-verify it and am flagging that rather than claiming provenance. Headless 3080 (both displays on the 7900X iGPU). Workload: single non-repetitive synthetic log-summarisation prompt, 256 output tokens, temp 0, cache_prompt off, medians of 3 reps (2 where noted). Prefill/decode from llama-server timings; TTFT client-side on a streaming request. llama.cpp b10472 (60eeeb608), Windows 11 / CUDA 12.4, driver 591.86, PCIe 4.0 x16, stock 370 W.
