Dual-GPU -sm layer with explicit -ts 1/1 and -ub 1024. Prefill 1778.6 +/- 4.8 (pp2048, llama-bench r=5) = 1.43x over single-GPU (1245.2 +/- 3.3) via scheduler pipeline parallelism (sched copies=4) - the overlap is real for multi-ubatch prefill; single-ubatch prompts see none. IMPORTANT: default VRAM-proportional layer split silently cost ~19% when another service held VRAM on GPU1 - pin -ts explicitly. Decode from llama-server /completion timings (temp 0, 150-tok gens, fresh state). Sustained-serving decode sags without periodic GPU burst (see clock-governor note on our Nemotron run). SR-IOV VFs: no power telemetry.
